You can also take a vocational exam organized by the Regional Examination Boards (OKE). This exam confirms specific qualifications and can make it easier to find a job. Nowadays, the division between women’s and men’s professions is disappearing, although in many fields it is still predominantly male or predominantly female. Typically Men’s or women’s professions are still functioning, as indicated by publicly available data.

Based on the information contained in the Statistical Yearbook of Labour 2023 published by the Central Statistical Office, these differences can be illustrated

List of jobs with a higher number of men by selected occupational groups in Q4 2022:

  • representatives of public authorities, senior officials and managers;
  • farmers, gardeners, foresters and fishermen;
  • industrial workers and craftsmen;
  • operators and assemblers of machinery and equipment.
