How to write a CV for a construction worker?

Curriculum Vitae is the basic application document that is necessary to take part in recruitment processes. Divide the CV of a builder into sections:

  • personal data;
  • professional summary;
  • experience;
  • abilities;
  • education;
  • interests (optional);
  • GDPR clause.

In the personal data section, enter your name, surname, position (e.g. bricklayer), telephone number and e-mail address, make sure that the data is up-to-date, correct and professional. An appropriate email address is e.g. “[email protected]”, a name such as “[email protected]” will not make a good impression on the recruiter.

Professional summary in the CV of a construction worker

  • Start with the most recent experience – use reverse chronology.
  • Include the full job title and company name.
  • Indicate the period of employment – enter the month and year of commencement and end of work.
  • Highlight key responsibilities – outline what exactly you did in your previous positions.
