Lawyer cover letter – how to distinguish it?
Do you want to create a cover letter? Take care of professionalism and stand out from other candidates. Highlight your unique experiences, e.g. participation in prestigious cases, internships in a reputable law firm or knowledge of specific areas of law. Use specifics, e.g. “I have represented clients in 15 family law cases”, this sounds better than the generic “I have experience in civil law”.
A lawyer’s position in a company can include different areas of responsibility, so you should pay attention to matching the letter with the requirements from the job offer. If your employer values fluency in English, point out examples where you have used it, e.g. “I have drawn up international agreements”.
